Re: Snapon' s 6x6 build I've got to get on that. I have the xr10 mod in the front with over Drive gears and it dose turn well. However in a comp I need all I can get from it. How did you wore it up 149 r/c worx /scalerfab Team Driver |
Re: Snapon' s 6x6 build I run a spektrum DX4C so it has steering mix built in. Run it off aux2. I can turn it on or off. If you have a DX4S you can set it for front/crab/4ws Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk |
Re: Snapon' s 6x6 build I've got a airtronics Mt4. How did you connect the bec to 2 servos? 149 r/c worx /scalerfab Team Driver |
Re: Snapon' s 6x6 build I power my receiver off the bec. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk |
Re: Snapon' s 6x6 build That's going to change once I get a second spektrum 6250 HV servo. I'll run a bypass then Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk |
Re: Snapon' s 6x6 build snapon boy, how tight is your turning radius/circle? ...mine is at about 4.5 ft right now... |
Re: Snapon' s 6x6 build Idk I would guess close to that my servo is out but I'll push it in a circle and see. I did do the xr10 mod on the front 149 r/c worx /scalerfab Team Driver |
Re: Snapon' s 6x6 build 53in by hand rolling it 149 r/c worx /scalerfab Team Driver |
Re: Snapon' s 6x6 build wow, mine is that tight with just my usual axial high clearance knuckles and aluminum chubs, I still have the dogbone axles in the front. I was thinking about doing the narrow XR mod to try and gain some more turning, but its close to 200 bucks with the beeftubes, XR axles, vp wraith chubs and knuckles and knuckle bushings.... not sure if its worth doing at this point... My setup ( if I put in axial cvd axles) was half that cost and turns as well... |
Re: Snapon' s 6x6 build https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...3babd00b64.jpg here is the side shot to show you where the links are mounted. I don't know if it would be any tighter with the servo. I have all the parts to do 6 wheel steering I just need some free time to knock it out. 149 r/c worx /scalerfab Team Driver |
Re: Snapon' s 6x6 build 1 Attachment(s) thanks for the side shot, right now I think my rear springs are way to firm. I need to soften then up a lot... Do you notice a difference in the way the rear shocks are mounted.. yours are slightly pointing towards each other and mine are both slightly leaning forward.. |
Re: Snapon' s 6x6 build Boom Racing has the whole xr setup for about 70 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk |
