| Ballistic17's 6x6 Thing
Picked up this custom build rig from jmz6. He did a awesome job on it. Can't wait to get it and put my own little twist on it. Thinking of running brushless in this beast. Rims will be Gear Head Rc 2.0 CAC soft 8's with RC4WD 1.9 Flashpoints. Other wise not much will change. ETA is this Fri. Here is the original build thread... Sewer Turtle |

Did a few upgrades. Put some SSD-RC lock outs, knuckles and hubs and cvd's on. Also started on the Woodchuck RC 4wood center link mount. Next up is some stainless links. |

Picked up a Holmes Hobbies TorqueMaster Expect 35t motor for this. Will be paired to a Sv3 esc. Will be running a Hitec 7954sh servo also. |

Did another little upgrade tonight. Swapped out the homemade front shock mounts and replaced them with a set of Cbercfab Shock keys. |

Started on the electronics today. Also mounted up my Cbercfab Titan winch. Had a little issue with the front bumper mount also. Time to modify it a little. |

I finally got this up and running and took it out for a shake down run. This is a fun rig to drive. |

Got my Scalerfab front bumper put on. Looks pretty good. Planning on putting a small light bar on it now. |

So after trading this rig about 6 years ago it is coming back to me. Have a few new ideas for it. Updating the axles, maybe 6 wheel steer. Rustic military paint theme and some lighting. Stay tuned... |

Got the rig back and started swapping out the axles for scx10ii ones. Got the front in and waiting for some parts for the rears. |

First, that's dope as hell. Second, did that start life as one of these? Last edited by SurlyBurly; 03-06-2021 at 12:40 AM. |

| Re: Ballistic17's 6x6 Thing Really? The pic is definitely there, I even see it in your quote. Might be something on your end. Anyway, it was the Ninja Turtles Van. https://thumbs.worthpoint.com/zoom/i...60be384079.jpg |

Yeah it started out as the van. I didn't do the body work. Boughtyit from another member on here.

Got some more time to work on this in between working on comp rigs. LOL Got the og scx10 axles out and the scx10ii installed. Few little tweaks to do yet but it's coming along. |

Does that give you more flex, or less? Is one axle influencing the other problematic?
