On page one of the build you said you were using pcb to water proof with, what is it? 149 r/c worx team driver |

Just look on eBay for the urethane cc. It's similar to what Holmes hobbies uses to wp their stuff. I usually use dielectric grease at all connections and coat the outside of the sensor wire connection with liquid tape. I've also used the cc to coat sensors on brushless motors.

Ok cool the pcb threw me I was thinking of the stuff inside capacitors. Yes the conformal coating seems to work wonders. Will you take a picture and show how you hook up the 3 servos, I'm wanting to add 2 more Servo to my 6x6 as well. 149 r/c worx team driver |

I'm using a dx4c with a 4 channel receiver. I have the the rear steer hooked up to aux2. The dx4c has steering mix built in. So you can set 2 separate modes. I have it set to front only and 4WS. If you get a dx4r, you can't setup 3 modes. Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk |

I don't have any pics of it directly but I'll describe it and take some pics tonight. From a function standpoint. I didn't want this rig to use any built in 4ws system to my radio. With 6 wheels it's awkward anyway. Plus with how I have my Brodozer setup, the lever on the mt4 is just perfect for rear steer. I first used my futaba 4pls as it can mix the ch3 and 4 together. The mt4 can mix aux1 (ch3) with the steering or throttle, but can't mix aux2 as a slave to aux1. I drove for a little bit with the futaba and it just wasn't to my liking. Ticking the dt switch back and forth just isn't intuitive and smooth. Plus it's increments vs infinite adjustment on the lever I decided to go Back to my mt4 and just use a Y cable for the two rear servos. Positives, easier to wire and setup Cons, no independent trim or endpoint for the two rear axles. To get these in sync I am using the exact same servo and horn (1231 with axial horn) set at the same orientation at 0 trim. Then I aligned the rear tires to the truck and set the drag link exactly at 0 so I wouldn't really have to use trim. End result is really really good. I turned down the end points as I don't need either axle turning a ton. The center position is really straight and since my geometry is consistent I can adjust trim and bot axles move well together. I also setup the sw2 next to my thumb to toggle the rear steer on and off. No real reason other than it will always default to off when I turn the truck on and center the servos regardless of where the lever is. I thought about contacting heyok if this didn't work. I'm sure he could make a simple trim and epa adjuster for the second axle, but for now I don't need it. Here's a video I took of operating it with the mt4. I can't say it enough. After using the lever for 4ws on the Brodozer and now this, it's just perfect!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Here's some close ups of the wiring. It's not installed yet just loose. Also got some time on the headache rack tonight. Super simple 1/2"X1/8" aluminum bent to shape. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Got the big bores for the front. Needed the narrow spring to clear the chassis. Put in mini t rear stiff springs. Thankfully the monster x showed up. This thing is just awesome. Can't wait to put it thru its paces. Then it was time to start on the trailer. Using tamiya 1.7 front semi wheels and 1.55 mud thrashers. Plan to make the whole frame out of aluminum. The axle shafts are 3/16" stainless. With some threaded collars to hold everything. Using the aluminum channel I made trailing arms for both axles. I used some rubber bumpers as "air bags". And it can hold the Brodozer. Finalized the stacks with some brass plate to mount to the headache rack. I coated the front bumper with truck bed liner. And have all the side panels on the bed. Looks great. Thinking of doing 6ws on my 6x6. How hard is it to set up?

| Re: Super Six - Diesel Sellerz F-550 6x6x6 SEMA Tow Rig Thanks man! It's a blast to drive so far. Lots of moving parts though... Quote:
It's really not too hard to setup. All the mechanical parts would be easy for you. Just need to get all the parts. I made sure to keep the rear axles setup the same so I could just use a Y splitter on the 3rd channel. If you use a futaba or higher end spectrum radio, you could use all 4 channels and mix the two rear channels together and then use the 4ws feature. As I said befor in this thread. If you're going 4ws the Airtronics mt4 is second to none. Having variable control over the rear wheels is a game changer when compared to a momentary switch. I've used both now with my 4pls and my mt4. I hated the 4ws built in feature and just using the dt switch on the futaba. I love 4ws with the mt4. When crawling, it's just infinitely more intuitive and user friendly when trying to find traction. Do it!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks Dana. I have the 4pls so I guess we'll see how it goes with that. Don't really want to buy a new radio for 6ws. lol

You could use a reversing Y harness to counter the front steering and a standard Y harness to tie in the 2 rear axles together.
