Thumbs up to you, sir.

Got some subframe plates cut by SMW. Based on my tired and true big rig suspension geometry.

All VP everything front wraith'd axle setup.

Dibs noted.

Doh! I was wrestling with tire choices with one of my scale advisers this past week. I was bouncing back in forth between the Sem Fronteria's and the Baja Claws. I wanted a chevron look but the Sem's, I think, were just going to be too narrow. I've run the baja's on my last Dakar CXT and they looked and performed good. Looking at the Scorpios, their height at 5.98" would have been too tall. I would have went with the 2.2 Mud Bashers if I could fit that tall of a tire.

the 1.9 is pretty tall too. I think its almost as tall as a panther cougars. really soft tire. no too wide not too narrow.

and I was just looking at rc4wd kryptons.. to short for this build but if you could make 2.2's that would be a nice tire.

Ran the Kyptons on this 6x6 build. They would be awesome in a factory 2.2 but I think making a 1.9 set into 2.2 would be a tad narrow.

Szczerba's MC6 6x6

Hot Racing transmission dissassembled, loctite'd, regreased and reassembled. Have had good luck with these transmissions over the years.

RC4WD 32p 64t spur from their ax2 trans fits scx trans with minor modifications. Just have to open center hole a tad. Extended front output lets you run the 64t and still clear MIPs.

Mixed Lucas Red N Tacky with Lucas 5k diff fluid. Going to see how this works in axles and trans.

9t pinion, 1200kv Tekin ROC412

Tight fit

Oh and I have some prototype rear axle housings ill be using. 2 weeks out on those.

Yups, a housing that is currently offered, just not as I will be getting them. Figure a 14-17lbs truck will be a good testing situation .

Also getting some 3d Printed wheels made up by Primo R/C Engineering. Vendor (Josh4x4toyz) here on RCC. Did my F350 wheels.

Start of front bumper. Just some 1" flat bar, bent, cut and welded onto the cab hinge.

Or is my garage too small?

Exhibit A.

2nd CXT I built on the left with trimmed fenders and metal fender guards.
1st CXT I built with no trimming and shorter, modified rockbeasts.

I'll be doing some fender trimming on this 3rd build.
