Re: allanon1965 builds a 6x6

I ended up putting softer springs on the very rear most shocks and this helped quite a bit to allow a more natural articulation in tandem with the middle axle. Overall I am quite pleased with this rig, it is fast becoming my favorite rig to run

ok, I put on my flat iron XL's and think they look pretty good! What do you think? Flat Irons or the wild peaks?

I am liking the looks of the flat iron XL's very much and will most likely leave them on, I have found the wheels I want to use eventually... lockedup rc recluse...these have the look and feel I am going for...but at a cost...about 210.00 not counting center caps

I actually like the Wild Peak's on the steelies. Matches the old body style pretty well.

I agree they do match the body style more..and am torn between the two. I think I will keep both sets and switch between them every so often and compare the performance."thumbsup"

I really do like the bed and all the work you have done to it. Especially the angled ends

I ordered the parts today to do the narrow XR mod to the front axle... I hope it helps with the turning radius..
