Default 6x6 help

I'm thinking about a scx based 6x6 project. My issue is I'd like to steer all three axles. My setup would be the basic pass thru center axle. In a normal front steer setup you flip the rear axle so everything drives the correct direction. My issue is once its flipped how would I steer it? Also, the center would have no mounts for a servo plate. I searched around but found nothing on a 6wd 6ws setup. Any help, constructive criticism or links to builds would be great. Thanks!

You might have to mount the steering servos to the chassis.

I'm sure someone could fab up a servo mounting plate for an inverted axle. Another option is chassis mounted servos. I did it on my 6x6: jebster's 6x6

I did keep mine with a 4-link setup vs going to a 3-link with panhard, which is the best setup if you are going with a chassis mounted servo (cms). The 4-link does give some bumpsteer but pretty minimal.

I dont know if you ha e figured out your problem or not. You could always run an SSD D60 axle case. By design the axle is flipped. There are holes for a servo plate or you can run CMS

It wouldn't solve steering the middle axle, but if you flip the middle axle you should be able to leave the extra one in the back in the original orientation, and therefore set up the steering just as you would the front axle. At least that's what I'm planning on doing.

Tried this last night and it didn't work. Don't listen to me.

Some places make an aftermarket servo plate that should work. It screws to the top two screws on the diff, the ones that hold it together.

How does that differ from where the stock servo mount is? If you have to flip the diff case over so the bottom is now the top, will this still mount?

Yes. It doesn't use the posts to mount the plate
