Been a long time since doing a build thread. So here we go. Building a really short Unimog 6x6.

Interesting. What's your plan for a pass-through?

Should be interesting. Guessing dual rear drive lines instead of a pass thru?

Using 1/8 aluminum for the frame rails. Links from Mc Master-Carr. Axial shocks. Dravtec inner portal cases. Punisher front drive shaft.

After many hours of playing with link and shock placement. It looks like a cheesy monster truck.

Had to slap wheels and a body on to see where we were at.

Added some shock towers, Toyzuki motor mount, and Super Shafty motor plate. The next major hurdle is replacing the TF2 coupler between the mid axle and transfer case. It is wobbling like crazy when turned by hand. This brings it up to date.

Purchased some electronics for this thing. Going with a Pro Tek 370 TBL for steering, Mamba X ESC, and a Holmes Sensored Stubby Revolver.

really like the unique drivetrain setup. having the transfer case on an axle was to cool idea. and the short look is something different.
