"Stumpy Mog" the 6x6 1 Attachment(s) Been a long time since doing a build thread. So here we go. Building a really short Unimog 6x6. |
Re: "Stumpy Mog" the 6x6 Interesting. What's your plan for a pass-through? |
Re: "Stumpy Mog" the 6x6 Should be interesting. Guessing dual rear drive lines instead of a pass thru? |
Re: "Stumpy Mog" the 6x6 1 Attachment(s) This is the idea. |
Re: "Stumpy Mog" the 6x6 1 Attachment(s) Added an SDI drive shaft and rebuilt the transfer case with Triton and Hammer parts. |
Re: "Stumpy Mog" the 6x6 1 Attachment(s) Using 1/8 aluminum for the frame rails. Links from Mc Master-Carr. Axial shocks. Dravtec inner portal cases. Punisher front drive shaft. |
Re: "Stumpy Mog" the 6x6 3 Attachment(s) After many hours of playing with link and shock placement. It looks like a cheesy monster truck. |
Re: "Stumpy Mog" the 6x6 1 Attachment(s) Had to slap wheels and a body on to see where we were at. |
Re: "Stumpy Mog" the 6x6 2 Attachment(s) Added some shock towers, Toyzuki motor mount, and Super Shafty motor plate. The next major hurdle is replacing the TF2 coupler between the mid axle and transfer case. It is wobbling like crazy when turned by hand. This brings it up to date. |
Re: "Stumpy Mog" the 6x6 Looking good Josh! Can't wait to see it out on the trail!"thumbsup" |
Re: "Stumpy Mog" the 6x6 Thanks, I am anxious to get back out on the trails. Sick of the rain and snow. |
Re: "Stumpy Mog" the 6x6 3 Attachment(s) Made a mount to keep the transfer case from flopping around. |
Re: "Stumpy Mog" the 6x6 Purchased some electronics for this thing. Going with a Pro Tek 370 TBL for steering, Mamba X ESC, and a Holmes Sensored Stubby Revolver. |
Re: "Stumpy Mog" the 6x6 really like the unique drivetrain setup. having the transfer case on an axle was to cool idea. and the short look is something different. |
Re: "Stumpy Mog" the 6x6 2 Attachment(s) Motor and steering servo mounted. |
