Hi Jato good morning to you. I am sorry the release is on this June, but again I don’t know the exact date. Got all this information from Cross RC Authorized dealer in China.

Very cool kit. Way out of my price range, but cool nonetheless.

All I see is Spintires....That's the truck I used to beat the flood stage. is there a log hauling bed available?

Pre orders have started, They've stated they cant guarantee when they ship. Pricing is a bit odd some are at the $300 mark and the "flagship version" is near $1200 EDIT: there a standard and Flagship version and the $300 ones are for a deposit

Standard version has more plastic bits and no sound kit while the Flagship version has a lot more alloy

These are the parts unique to the Standard version
AXLES PLASTIC
TRANSFER BOX PLASTIC
A-ARMS PLASTIC
A-ARM MOUNTS PLASTIC
C HUBS PLASTIC
ST KNUCKLES PLASTIC
REAR HUB CARRIERS PLASTIC

And these are unique to the flagship version:

AXLES ALLOY
TRANSFER BOX ALLOY
A-ARMS ALLOY
A-ARM MOUNTS ALLOY
C HUBS ALLOY
ST KNUCKLES ALLOY
REAR HUB CARRIERS ALLOY
SOUND FULL SOUND SYSTEM

$300 = non-refundable down payment so that you can reserve one.

Yeah I was a bit trigger happy, I posted up before really reading through it.

I just noticed they havent bothered to put the BC8 up on their main site just the US site. Thats a bit odd, I guess they're testing one market first.

Ouch! $1,000 just like I expected. The flagship model is more, but worth it since the axles and trans are metal. Still don't know if I can justify $1,200 for that.

The nonrefundable deposit is BS. What if he can't fill orders? No thanks.

Really cool truck, but no way on non-refundable deposit.

So this uses a 560 size motor which I've never seen before, I'm just curious if anyone knows if there are any other sources for a brushed motor this size? I havent had luck finding any 560's

EDIT: I have an old cordless drill with a pretty large motor maybe thats close, I'll have to dig that up and see.

I just noticed that RPP will now be selling some CrossRC stuff https://www.rpphobby.com/SearchResul...rch=crossrc612 but no BC8 up yet

HRP is now a distributor of CrossRC. I'm glad to see Cross growing. RC4WD needs a competitor to shake them up. Just like Vaterra, etc forced Axial to make the SCX10 II I think CrossRC will force RC4WD to get their quality in check and also force them to come out with new, updated products.

I'd love to get a Demon to compare the quality to my TF2.

I have a scale nerd friend who only builds RC4WD and now CrossRC. He said the Cross stuff is definitely higher quality and they usually include more metal parts.

The BC8 is so awesome though! That's the one I want.

BC8 definitely on the wishlist. FR4 catches my eye too.

Well I took the plunge and put the flagship model on order though I'm a bit embarrassed to talk about it since its not cheap at all. But I'm no rich man I just have a low overhead, no kids, no significant others, no car or house payments oh and It was almost curtains for me last year and I realized I cant take it with me so I've been amassing an army of crawlers

I still dont know if this will include an ESC or receiver, or if its a kit or RTR or what. I hope with the number or US dealers on the rise it will bring with it better info and descriptions because its pretty sparse now.

I've never been a fan of sound kits but the flagship model includes one so I guess I'll have to give it a try, racing games have made me pretty picky about sound. It would be sweet if there were a dynamic sound kit that could vary the sound for different loads at the same rpm.
