I have finished for the evening... got the headache rack started also took a few more pics, 2 of them are showing the magnets that hold the bed to the chassis..they stay on the bottom of the bed and stick to the top of the middle shock hoops and are surprisingly strong, big bubba rolled over a good 3 rolls and it stayed attached. also put the 4 flat irons I have on the rear axles to see how they look, I like them. I have 2 more tires and 6 new wheels coming. I think they will look nice on this rig.

Great looking build so far! I have that 550 in my rig. Tows the trailers around no problem with out getting warm on 3s. You'll like it.

Great job Al! Love that color blue on that body. Cant wait to see the riggers on it. My grandpa (dads dad) had a rig business drillin oil wells before i was born. Unfortunantly i didnt get the chance to know him. He passed away shortly after i turned a yr old

Nice job man!

Do you get any torque twist on the middle axle of either 6x6 when it gets bound up a little?

My 34 ford 6x6 gets no axle lift when binding up, this one hasn't been ran in that situation yet, but it will be today and I will report back.

its been raining here so no test run yet. I built the working rear bed roller today, still need to trim up the mounts but it works great! I got new gmade plastic beadlocks (budget constraints right now) and 2.2 flat irons installed as well...

I got the 550 21t hi trailmaster sport in and test ran it on my mini course at the house, the left wheel on the center axle lifts about 1/8 inch on a hard surface bind....in the trail section where its not sold surface grip, the wheels break free and there is no bind. I am very pleased by how well it works!

Thanks for the update. On mine, I can just about flex out the middle axle if I bind it up. Also running 4s on a Castle 2280 so that may have a little part of it. I added a VP Anti-rock swaybar to the middle axle to help.
