Default Bio-Containment Unit

Been wanting to build a multi for a while now.
Gathered some parts, new and used. I took some pics during the
building process but there's been so many changes they are now obsolete.
So I took some of how it sits now.

Specs for those who care

SCX-10 chassis, extended.
Trans; Al. housing, metal gears & spur.
Motor; Brood Intensity 30T.
Axles, all with steel tubes.
Front; Al. C's & knucks, CVD's, reg. gearing.
Middle; Al. lockouts, reg. gearing.
Rear; SSD D60, Al. lockouts and U.D. gearing.
HW 1080 Brushed ESC.
Annimos 25kg WP servo.
Boom Racing Al. shocks.
Junfac driveshafts fr., mid & Boom Racing shorty rear.
Vanquish Ripper Front Bumper.
Vanquish LED Light Bar.
Tires; 1.9 BF Goodrich AT T/A K02.
Wheels; 1.9 Method Mesh.

As you can tell I took it for a test drive. Thing climbs like a goat

I started the build not sure on body, etc. I had a few ideas spinning then I found this and knew what I wanted. More to come...

. That’s dope in my book. Thanks for showing what to do with my SCX10 when it’s not getting used as much anymore. Any ideas for a body?

Thanks man. I was trying to figure out a cab for the longest time but
nothing was thrilling me. I remembered an old build a buddy made and
hunted one down. more on that later.

This is my first real work with styrene etc. Have mercy on me
I have found out quickly that I am no good at all with it. But it's
coming along.
I wanted the rear tank part to come off easily yet be secure. So I
made it fit over the shock towers. I can reach in the tank, pull the body clips
and take it off. Some progress pics

A bit more done on the chamber. Put a blue light inside for an eerie
look at night and a capture.
Also added rock sliders and front inner wells while glue was drying.

So after trying many different cab ideas, and none that thrilled, I remembered
an old build a buddy did. That was just great. See it here: Sewer Turtle by JMZ6

So I hunted one down and went to town the best I could. Here's a bunch of
pics of the cab and the almost finished Bio-Containment Unit.

The cab is hinged in the front to replace battery, etc.
Just the 2 screws to take it off completely. And I made
a swing down pole to prop the cab open.

The light bar is amazingly bright

I switched up some rear linkage and replaced all the drive shafts with
Boom Racing ones. Updated pic:

I took a little break from RC for a while and missed this build.
