Just stumbled on this thread. I really needed another professional painter to make me feel worse about my own inadequacy! j/k.

This is an absolutely beautiful job, probably the best execution of any rig build I've seen!! Coming from a trucking family I've seriously considered doing one, but the cost and intensive work involved were prohibitive for me. Have to go check out YT now...vicarious is good.

Nobody commented on the Movin' On reference?? Too young an audience, I guess. That and BJ and the Bear were staples in my house growing up!

Thanks, but hardly close to professional . This is a fun easy kit to build, everything is there, minimal mold lines to clean, just paint and assemble. I did add CB antennas on the mirrors, and a set of leds under the dash to light the interior a bit... not happy with those, but a pain to move.

I watched BJ and the Bear too! Loved that show as a kid! I need to see if I can find old re-runs to refresh my memory!

Damn.. BJ & the Bear... I was there too!

Trailer looks great. I see what you mean on the trailer length but had you not mentioned it, I don't think I would've even noticed. Great job/ fantastic detailing on the entire project.

Final Note........ I ran out of space for this rig, as it was in the Living Room, the Queen was patient, BUT....... So The king has Moved On to a new owner.... Cash does always talk, and I may be comissioned to build another matching closed trailer.

Final Thought, talk to your LHS They might know of a buyer......This was the easiest sale I've done, and didnt lose any money>

Well a quick update. The King went on to its new owner, a 9yr old!!
But Dad was so impressed by the rig he wanted another, no not just the trailer I started for him, but another entire rig, with his company logo.
He is supplying the artwork, and the account at our LHS. Tractor, electronics, radio , servos, paint, wheels, 80t motor, parts start arriving this week. So I did start the trailer, here’s a teaser......
