Re: Wheely King 6x6 Holy sh*t that thing is going to weight a ton. But it is a cool build keep up the good progress |
Re: Wheely King 6x6 Some of the best hand fabrication of parts I have ever seen. Great work on building your own parts the way you want them! |
Re: Wheely King 6x6 Thank you guys. The truck will be around 9 kg with all the details https://i.imgur.com/qUoxlZU.mp4 |
Re: Wheely King 6x6 Impressive build. I built a Wk 6x6 years ago, and had issues with trans gears stripping and Dogbones breaking. If you plan on driving anything other than mostly flat trails, you might want to carry some spares. Mine weghed in @8lbs or so on 5.4" Proline Tsl's. |
Re: Wheely King 6x6 9kgs is not that bad for a large rc custom build truck. I have one 6x6 that is 9kg and a tow truck that is 9.5 kg that pulls a 13.6 kg trailer plus humans! haha I just run a 1200kv brushless motor and 4S lipo with the correct gear reduction. Again, great build here. Ready for the full build pictures. |
Re: Wheely King 6x6 I run on 3s whit a 21T brushead motor. Not to doo to much damage i put on a Blitz sliper clutch a CK gearbox and now 88 spur whit 31 pinion. Sent from my INE-LX2 using Tapatalk |
Re: Wheely King 6x6 Awesome work! I love the working hood latch. Great fabrication skills. "thumbsup" |

I ran a 96, 14 combo and barely kept the heat under control with a 35 540 motor. |
