Default Dodge T-Rex

Always wanted to build one, One way or another.

Soo.

Poor artist rendition.

Bought the axial frame extension.

Ebay link set. (Lots of options) and rear steer.. Jut because I want something

with rear steer..(using Heyok rear steer with BEC Option)

Did the usual 2 axle flip thingie for center axle and the gears are really crunchy.

Should have bought the stock Axial 6x6 but too deep into it now to go back.

I didn't want to destroy a perfectly painted and done body soo...
I used my new spare body and bought another one..
Not sure If I just want to glue the back half under/over the other body or splice and re-enforce some how. (E6000 and Drywall Mesh)

Took me three times to get this panhard mount built. The rear axle on my 6 x 6 needs to be upside down and backwards
(to rotate in the right direction) and I kept making it on a right side up axle and then the wrong end of the upside down axle. lol
Fabricated on a spare axle.

Very cool. I forgot all about the Dodge T-Rex. When I think T-Rex from that era I always think of the reverse trike.

I saw the title and IMMEDIATLY thought of that truck. Great idea!

My only complaint is about the panhard mount. It's FAIRLY low... imo... so it'll have more axle swing than one that sits up off the axle more to give a horizontal link. BUT... i know everyone has their preference, and if it doesn't have a ton of travel, it shouldn't matter.

Thanks,
Very good point about the panhard mount..
The rear does have some issues.
Using the scx10 II shock tower to have upper link mount.
Not working out as good as I thought it would.

Ugh...

I'm working on the PanHard mount but in the mean time,

I received a Chinism center since the Axial flip and thing wasn't working..
I did take the Chinism axle apart to check and add grease. Smooth as butter..

Now to find a rear center drive shaft.
Not enough room for a cut down stocker..
These are just the end caps.

Taking advice from chevy42083
I redid the panhard mount and installed panhard bar.
Suspension travels up and down with little to no side movements.
Also added the Vanquish pan hard mount. SCX10 IIs placements
just wasn't working out.

Does it matter which top link I remove?
I removed drivers side and seems Ok.

Link tied off to the side for testing.

I hope there is not too much Torque on the mount.
I couldn't think of a way to add another point of contact.
Yet..
It has a steal ball mount so I can crank down on tightness.
