Default Overland?

Paint time. This truck really has some plain boring stock paint colors. So I wanted some pop, but not garish. So that means no pearls, micas, or metallics. Hmmmm , I went across the aisle to Tamiya military colors, AS19 “ intermediate blue (USN)”
I think it’s going to be perfect, colors solid, now time to clear with TS13

This is going to look soo good when done! That blue will set it off, for sure.

Can’t wait to see the body finished!

Default Overland?

Update time. Parts slowly all got here, still waiting on a tool....... but major wiring progress made! If you remember my first fit, I had 10 #in a 1# box!

So careful time spent, allowed the RX and light modules to be cab side! Best yet it all still works. Reverse lights are a bit sensitive, I suspect my neutral calibration is off a bit. Need to make a couple of covers to hide the rear light wiring, but all went smoothly out of the way.

Now I need to make a few standoffs for the toolbox, as it sits a bit wrong with a camper shell coming.

Default Overland?

Well still playing with this. Ive not been lucky enough to find a scaleish shell, so I will build it. Ive been bothered in that it sounds like.....an RC truck! I was spoiled when I built a couple of Tamiya semi trucks, with the MFC 1. BUT I wasnt spending a couple of hundred either. So when getting a sound set for my 8x8 Hemtt bangood has a universal sound system for $40.00 and I grabbed one.

Power needed was supplied thru the MYTrick light module, couple of jumpers and BOOM....Sound that easy

You tell me if it sounds correct.
