I could definitely tell a difference, not as tippy and much more clean articulation. I can’t wait to get it on some dry terrain with the new wheels n tires. Hoping the wheels give it a slight wider stance, and I may consider going a bit wider if so. Super happy with this thing so far though, I’ve got some knk spacers coming to clean things up. The transmission held up and didn’t chew the spur gear but I know it could be better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Here’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for... fleabay wheels showed up today. Love the look not stoked on the wheels themselves. Also I may have gone slightly too big on the tires lol! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This makes me happy. Amazing what a change of shoes can do. The tires are big, looks like the rears almost touch each other lol. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Thanks Phildirt! I’m about to take it out so I’ll report back with a performance review. Yea... there’s a gap and they never come in contact so I’ll run it and see how she goes. I do know the axles are closer together with this chassis, because if you run the stock pass-thru it requires you to shorten the already very short driveline lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk | |

Got to run this thing a little yesterday, and within minutes I could tell the tires were the best thing I could have done for this rig. For being as long as thing thing is, the lines it tackles doesn’t even make sense. This thing continues to impress me and I don’t even think I’ve scratched the surface of its capabilities. I’ll be switching it over the the castle 2850 slate, the hobbywing is great, unreal drag brake, but the low end control just isn’t there for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I think it looks perfect. Not too big IMO, bigger the better. They are the 4.7inch Landmines correct, not the class1 4.19inch? Last edited by savageasflux; 03-01-2021 at 03:00 PM. |

Hey sorry guys, I didn’t get any alerts for this. Thanks for the compliments! Savage, correct they’re the 4.7 landmines with stock foams for now. Soze, that it is! My buddy was struggling hard on a line with his brand new Brazin atl pro truck and this thing took a couple attempts but ended up going right up. It continues to impress me. Bbeck006, that’s the East fork Lewis river up near Yakolt in Washington state. The spot is called Lucia falls and man is it a fun place to wheel, especially later in the year when the water levels are down and it’s warm out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Idk if this will turn out, but hopefully it does and you’ll get an idea of how many people were out there.. too much of a crowd for me personally. I did have a guy ask me if it came out of the box like this lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Idk what do y’all think? I’d paint it a different color. The best part is, 2 screws and a couple zip ties to swap between the cab and the Umg body Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I personally like it. I'm glad I'm not the only one using zipties on my bodies lol.

Definitely looks like a great place to wheel! I’ll have to try and get out to the South Santiam river near where I live in Oregon sometime this summer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’m still tinkering with the cab, I’ll need to design a mount if so or definitely a flat bed. Even thought about seeing what the Umg bed looked like mounted up to it. Smc, yea it would be a bit of a drive, but if you could make a full day or even weekend out of it I think it would be worth it. I drive a little over an hour. Bbeck where about are you? We wheel at northwest hobbies and the Lebanon dam down that way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hit Lucia falls again, got a solid hour of run time in. This rig impresses me over n over again. I didn’t get a chance to swap the motor, I’ll be doing that this week and ordering some softer springs, along with a Holmes V3 servo sooner than later |

Small update, got the castle system installed, I swapped to the traxxas yellow springs, the truck sits lower now and I hope it’s less bouncy. I also swapped to 70wt shock oil which I can already tell is too much for 2 of the shocks, not sure what’s going on there but I’ll likely get another pair or set. I did the high pinion swap for the rear axle, driveline angle was definitely improved and worth it IMO. Did some shimming on the trans and that seems to have solved some issues there also. Taking this thing out again this weekend so I’ll report back on the changes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
