Axial 6x6 Chassis strengthening.

Have a project I picked up an Axial UMG 6x6 roller for.
It will need to be beefed up for my use.

What is the best way or methods to strengthen the chassis.

Or would you just buy some quality C-Channel and go that route?
Straight chassis rails wouldn't be a biggy for my purposes.
Just wondering what options others have used.

Axial 6x6 Chassis strengthening.

Check out Soze’s build in here, he designed a chassis brace for the stock chassis that makes a huge difference

That or go totally crazy and build it in the new gspeed Carbon rails

Re: Axial 6x6 Chassis strengthening.

Well, as this won't be a crawler when it's done, I don't think the CF rails will do what I need from them, unless they were C-Channel.

I contemplated a 2nd set of rails and then wire welding them together.
But simple C Channel, even aluminum, would probably work out better.

Just looking at other options.

I'll check out Soze's build.
thanks for the heads up.
