You do mini racing at the plex? I thought that was on tuesdays? Did they move it to wednesday? I want to take my stock-motor mini-t down there and see what she can do. Or do you mean the Tamiya Mini-cooper racing? |

That is nice! I should take that F350 home for a few days and see what I can come up with for a logo . . . . |

| Sorry, different Minis. I run a Tamiya M-03M Suzuki Swift (Affectionately known as the "Mini" class because the first bodies for the M-03 chassis were Mini Coopers)

That looks good. One thing is for sure, I don't think we'll have much trouble coming up with graphics in our group! |

I wouldn't mind getting the crawler out, especially now that I'll have a body on it that doesn't hold back articulation. Are you guys thinking of meeting up at the Plex on Sunday?

Gerame said the Hobbytown would not work on Sunday. I assume because of the racing that's going on there. We wouldn't want to cross radio signals.

True, good point. We could still meet there and then drive over to that rocky dam that is nearby. Or if not there then that is fine also. You guys know the spots in Omaha so I can meet up wherever works best for everyone.

I probably won't make it this sunday. I've got lots of "honey-do" stuff going this weekend. Spring cleaning and stuff, re-caulk the shower, and for some reason all the ceiling lights in the second floor of my house stopped working, but none of the breakers are kicked out... I think a mouse might have chewed through a wire or something. I don't suppose any of you guys are an electrician? |

So my trusty old Futaba 9405 servo bit the dust. It had around 80 oz torque and was about 6-7 years old so I suppose it's done its job well. Anyway, I need to get a new servo. Any recommendations for a decent steering servo? I don't need to have the super high torques ones. Just anything close to what I used to have at a reasonable price. I'm looking at getting the Futaba S3305 high torque servo as a replacement.

JR z650m 142oz. ~$50 Hitec 5645mg 170oz. ~$55 Hobbytown north in Lincoln has one instock right now. Hitec 5998tg 250oz. ~$100 I have one of each and not a problem yet. If you end up getting a Hitec I have a new aluminum arm if you can't find one. |

Sux, I just bought my Futaba aluminum servo arm today! Oh well. I think I may look at the JR650 while I'm at HT tomorrow. The thing I like about the Futaba is that it has all metal gears unlike the Hitec which have a plastic gear in the mix with metal gears.
