Alex i saw that dig yesterday, now i want one. LOL On tires i have the Hot bodies rovers and they very flexible even with stock foam. Only thing that is bad about them is the hieght of them, they are way taller than stock axial tires, but once they grip anything they work awesome.

forgive me for digging this old thread up, but I have a question and didn't want to start a whole new thread.

I'm putting these vanquish beadlocks together...do I need to threadlock them. It's metal on metal, so I think I should, but do any of you guys do it?

Nope, never needed to on any of mine and I run them on 5 or 6 rigs.

Ok. Thanks Josh!

After getting the first one together it definately is a snug fit, which is why I thought about asking if it was necessary.

I keep digging this thread up, mainly to keep from starting another one.

I thought I would share my latest experience...

I've been Jay Robinetting my comp crawler and finally plugged everything in to try it out last week only to find that my dig, and esc essentially stopped working properly.

I was freaking out, because I had to go into the ESC programming and change the rotation of the brushless motor.

After taking apart my entire truck, I discovered that it wasn't an electronic issue at all, but a mechanical one. The screws that I used to hold the transmission in its new spot were too long and bound the whole thing up.

I rebuilt everything and now all is good again except for a burnt up external BEC.

I am extremely fortunate that it is NOT my ESC because Losi isn't making them anymore.

I have to work tomorrow, so I can't go to the comp, but I will practice a bit outside and hope to make the one on father's day weekend.

I'm glad you figured it out Alex. I was wondering if the problem might be mechanical. In fact Wednesday night I mentioned the idea to Ken. I was thinking more like a problem with the gears though.
