I was kind of smitten with the Bronco and the recovery Mog. I already have the CAD work done on the Mog portals.

I figured a .75" steel tube with some machining, dremil work, welding, and some .1875" brake line.

Is your idea simpler?

My one link is more complex than the bronco and mog. I have to make a ladderbar center with a tube on either side.

I figure the hardest part is attaching it to the axle of choice. I can't decide tlt or high lift.

Because if you are not, then go TLT. The Hi-Lifts shoulder between the dog bone end and the E-clip groove is longer and THIN. As hard as we will beat on these I see that being a major issue.

A stock tlt looks roughly like a 14 bolt.

You build me one and I will test it for you.

I am running leafs in the front so I don't need a panhard.

perhaps

will it have as much slop will it have?

J/K

for real I will just run tlt's and i might have you make a custom front axle for it in the future, it all depends on money

I was planning on having 2.439" of slop and .962" of backlash.
