Rock for couse expansion

I have been on the phone calling all around for rock prices and asking for the best deals. Here's just a few of what I found prices on;

Sun Valley - limestone wall stone & Granite 246.40 per ton / Clearance material 67.20 per ton.

Eastern Wall stone - wall stone 85.00 per ton

Dakota Stone - mixed boulders 18-36" 77.00 per ton

Schildberg Quarry - Mixed Rock 250#'s and less for $20.00 per ton (this is what's on the course now)

I feel that Schildberg Quarry has the best pricing on materials but need to get a feeler on what the club wants to do. Right now we have verbal commitments on $140.00 to purchase material for the outside rock course expansion, that's from Rich, Sean, Tye, Tom, Ger, Fred Sanford, and Alex. This material would be used to go down the guard rail and around to the lower section so that our course would grow to nearly twice the size. Money would have to be sent to 03 liberty or myself to purchase the rock. Any more contributions would be great.

If we want to have this by the next comp, we need to have a quick response. I would try setting up for Thursday or Friday delivery then we just would need some helpers to arrange the course. Please let me know your thoughts.

Rich, Sean, Tye, Tom, Ger, Fred Sanford, Jay, Jim, Josh, and Alex @ $20 per person gives us $200. If you all agree to send me the money then I'll order the stone tomorrow from Cresant Quarry. Just email or PM me and I'll send you my home address. I will supply all receipts to show where your money went. Please, if this offends anyone then just let me know, my intentions are to get more rock for Sat's comp.

If we get the stone in by Thursday I'll bring my skid loader up to the Plex to move things around easier. Let me know who could make it Thursday to help out with things.

Hmmmm, I dunno about that. If we paint one in your honor, then we'll have to start painting rocks for everyone.

So far, I haven't received any requests for my address to send the $ for the rock to me, so I guess we'll all just have to get the $ to Rich....PRONTO....so he can get it ordered right away. Thursday is only TWO days away folks, (since it's almost midnight now) so pony up the dough!

Here's what I have for rock and they are probably around 18-40" in size and need to make a decision tonight if possible. They can deliver it tomorrow at the Plex.



I will have my skidloader there to move the rocks around on Thurday night around 5-6 pm.

For those of you who were not there last comp, this is kind of what we have in mind for expanding the course, after ownership approval. The existing course is on the upper southwestern lever and the lower northwestern level in brown shade. Please share your thoughts.
