After a very thorough and passionate discussion, it is time schedule our first "FUN" class comp!

This comp will be for shafties only with no dig. We may decide on other changes to the class rules as we go along, but this will get us started.

This will take place on a Saturday at HobbyTown.

Now we need to decide on a date.

Oct 16th, or 23rd

Which one works best for you?

16th sounds good...

Just be clear, "no dig" just means that you can't use it during the comp.
You don't have to remove it from your vehicle.

Stayed out of the discussion, seemed pretty heated at times, better for me to stay out of it, but do like where it has gone and since this is a democracy

My Bully has "axle" shafties in it, and my Summit has drive shafts, ,,,,, ,,,, do they qualify?

I doubt that you Summit would fit through the gates . . . .

We've had 11am start times all year and it's seemed to work well.

Well it's looking like this one is going to be on the 16th.

Take lots of pictures so I can see how much fun you had!
I'll be teaching that day so I won't be able to make it.

What rules did you guys want to implement for this "Fun" class event?

Shaft driven only
No dig use
Shorter than standard wheelbase ???
What else ???

Post up with your ideas!

"sportsman" rules, and make it that easy.

kinda what i am thinking... im not going to change mine or my boys trucks... the sportsman rules will let any of our club members run their comp rigs with no dig of course

yes i would like it to be... but mike up here is getting a rtr bully with out a dig and i would like him to be able to come play as well
