my jeep works great. but what i have learned is rccrawling is a different ball game. what i know from fullsize rockcrawling doesn't apply to rc crawling. It is a learning process.

Is there going to be off time repairs, most big comps dont allow that.

Meet with Jim and Alex briefly Wednesday night and discussed how much course development is needed. I feel that the club needs to put together a course design committee really soon and get some ideas together. I am willing to have a retired design engineer come over and draw some ideas up for us plus meet with a few of my landscaping contractors too. If anyone has seen any links that we could reference to the engineer that would be great. Please send them to email or pm account.

Dewy & Jim, let me know how far you want me to go with this, I don't want to step on toes. I can also set up a meeting with the owner to get a clear understanding on what we can do with the property.

I think that you have some good ideas Rich.
Can you make it to Dewey's meeting on the 1st at Noon?

I'll try, I'm leaving for a ski trip either that day or the next. I will check with my wife and let you know.

Default super class

I have a few friends in north platte that run the supers. I told them that I don't think they will have a class for them. I didn't know if you had giving any thought about running a super class? Just a thought.

A good course could challenge anything but you have to decide if you have the room to setup and area for supers. Some places put supers and 1.9 in the same area with different colored gates. Then you don't need more judges. Is there enough interest is the other side of the coin though.

at this time i don't think supers would be a viable option... our focus will need to be on the 2.2 and 1.9 classes... sorry guys
