I'm sorry to hear that Chris.
Don't worry about the rock Chris, just take care of your family.

Just got home from the plex. We got alot of rock moved and a good start on clean up. I took a few pics but it was dark at the time. I will sort through them and post them later today. Thanks to Rich for all the equipment we used and to everybody who helped out tonight, Joe, Ty, James, Rich, Alex, and Dewey.

Chris, first off I want to say I'm sorry for your loss of your Grand Mother and hope you've had time to celebrate the memories you've share with her.

We missed you the last few days but the guys showed up and rocked a ton, the courses have come a long ways. Big thanks to the Die Hard Sioux City guys, they bailed Ken, Joe, Ty, and myself out big time. The Pitbull Tire obstacle looks pretty cool with Mikes 42" Rocker/Poison Spyder bead lock sitting framed around a bunch of boulders. I might go up today and haul one more load of crushed rock so that we can finish spreading out the walk areas. There is only about one area of course that needs to be finished with design but shouldn't take long, that's by the rail and sidewalk.

I will also take the Bobcat and trailer back to the farm so my dad can get back to feeding the horses their hay. The rest of work will have to be done by good old fashion labor.

Chris, I sent you a pm.

I would like to bring the power washer up tomorrow morning but need some help loading it up. If someone can power wash sidewalks and course while I go get more crushed rock for the walk ways that would be great. I'd like to be all finished with bobcat tomorrow and take it back to the farm. Let me know who can help and what time.

Thanks,

Rich

Ok here are some pics. They are after dark so they are not the best.
Enjoy!

There is still some work left to do but it is coming along nicely. Hope to see everybody at the next comp.

The parking lot and sidewalks are all clean but didn't have time to wash off the course. Someone will need to stop by and wash off the rock, I need to get things caught up at home plus try and get my rigs ready. The Bobcat is gone so any additional work will need to be done by hand. Have fun with the new course.

Thanks Rich for all of you hard work. I am not sure if all of the club members realize how much time and money you put in. Thanks again buddy!

Yes, Rich has put in an incredible amount of work to make this crawler area a success! Thank you very much!!

I will be getting the photos from the photographer tomorrow afternoon.
I'll get some of them posted up here when I get a chance.
He took over 100 shots today.

Finishing touches need to be done in order to have our courses ready for the Central States Challenge. Here's a list of what needs to be completed;
1. Rake out large dirt clod areas and prep for crushed rock.
2. Fill in dirt areas with crushed rock.
3. Power wash the dirt off course area, what ever doesn't get cleaned in this monsoon.
4. Finish course design to north of exit door/sidewalk.
5. Add any fine detail to course area such as bridges, wood material, or banner/flags boundary areas.
6. Plant grass seed in the lower area by drain tile.

This is what I propose to be discussed at the comp on Saturday and get a signup list of who is willing to participate. All work should be done by end of next week so that we are prepared for the comp.
