If it stays open, an alternate route may be to take hwy 30 to Blair and then take hwy 133 or 75 out of Blair into omaha. It'd be less backtracking.

I thing you're gonna need to fill all the vent holes in the wheels and get some dually adapters for each corner. You might end up wave crawling but it's better than sinking.

Taking Hwy 75 from Sioux City or crossing at Onawa/decatour to Hwy 75 are also possibilities.

Also possibility is taking following Hwy 77 out of Sioux City and crossing over to Hwy 75 just past Oakland (heading to Tekamah).

My wife has family up in Walthill and I have friends outside Tekamah, so I'm familiar with the drive.

It's a fairly boring drive, but should minimize the chances for any Flooding inspired detours.

Hwy 77 is the safest bet. I heard the hwy 75 is closed by Macy, NE. I will try my best to get out of work early, but your trip just gained 45 minutes or so.
