Default New Panel Construction / Club Restructure

Joe, Chris, and myself would like to get started on building some new panels for the indoor course. As voted by the 2011 members, we would use a portion of the remaining funds to construct these panels. If any of you would like to join in at Joe's shop, we will be starting as soon as James turns over our account balance.

We also need to know who would like to be a part of a committee to restructure the club once again. Things have been put off long enough, it's time to start planning for our spring/summer plans.

Please comment on how you would like to participate with NSCA with either course construction or club management.

Yes the fee is still $20

And just to clear things up. I held on to the money in my bank account. I didnt turn it over with the black folder and the score sheets, because I thought it was irresponsible to leave over 400 dollars on the table at the plex. No one was really stepping up and saying they would take care of the money. I had people say they would do anything other than take of money.

I did get a pm from Hud last week, and had all of the intentions to get to him. It just didnt work out. I will get to Hud today and give him the money and ledger sheet.

Just for the record, I had no intention of keeping the money, I was just looking out for the club until someone said they wanted the money. I hope that the new panels look and work great. I also hope the club gets back to its full thriving attendance that is had when I started.

Thanks, James

I would be willing to be part of the committee. Also Heather said that she would keep track of and post the scores.
Hope to see you guys on the 14th.

When did you think the panel work will take place?

Here is what was posted in an earlier thread when James was asking for volunteers.

Sorry that I haven't been very active recently.
I've been really busy with family and work lately.
In fact, I'm out of town on business again right now.

Little heads up for planning purposes but the MWC is likely a no-go this year. With the new USRCCA guidelines you need to host all three classes. To do that on an indoor course would have been very hard or would have resulted in weak courses. So that spot has been given up and will not be filled. This is to give competitors a little bit of break in scheduling to allow them to try and make a larger percentage of the events.

I hope to make it up a couple times this winter

I meet with James today and got the balance of the clubs money along with the balance sheet. I want to personally thank James for all of the hard work in 2011 and to let you rest in peace, no one ever thought you'd try and keep the money buddy. We were just in a hurry to try and get some new panels built while it was still winter.

We can discuss our direction along with club dues and board of directors on the January 14th Comp as long as that's the group conscious. Everyone bring along your ideas for our direction for 2012.

SmokinJoe would like to transport the new panels tonight from his home to Hobby Plex starting between 5:30-6 pm at his home. Is there one other person with a pickup available to assist in hauling a panel tonight?
