Chad,,,you said some of you were going up on Fri.,,,,where are you guys staying? What motel,,,,I'm starting to think that may be the way to go!! 12+ hours on the road with a full day of comping might just be a bit to much for these ol bones!!

One of the Omaha guys is going up Thursday. He said they will be staying at Super 8. Hope this helps.

Thanks,,,I will keep that in mind,,,found a Holiday Inn in Brandon that has a water park,,,thinking about going up Fri with the family, letting them kick it at the water park Sat. while I comp, then staying Sat. and coming home Sun.

Still up in the air, but the wife didn't shoot it down!! I will keep the Super 8 in mind in case I come alone and we decide to spend the night!

Sadly guys,,,,looks like I'm going to have to pass on this trip which really stinks being I am going to have to miss my club comp as well next month!! Unless my plans change, and that will b e a last min. decision, then I'll be back on,,,but for now I'm out!!

i will be attending but i will just have my scaler , anyone else bringing one

alright, have all my stuff packed and ready to roll. i'll be bring my laptop, vid cam, and still cam. also have a couple tripods as well. i still plan on bringing my truck for ac power, soldering iron and some cordless drills. if there are any tools needed (dremel, etc.) let me know. pretty much whatever it is, i can power it, save for my 9in. grinder. can also pack an air compressor if ya'll wanted.

EDIT: i forgot, which computer to bring? if you guys have some things that need to be programmed, its going to have to be my windows laptop that has an iffy battery and i have no clue on how to operate past using castle link. if not, then i'll just bring my linux machine to dump vid and pictures on.

sweet! i won't be the lone mn guy there and i have a tube of hd moly packed for ya

EDIT: i'll be bringing a cooler with bottled water and also a my 2.5 gal. water cooler, i was hoping the temps would be around 70 deg this year, but doesn't look like it also, i will be bringing a few towels and bandanas to soak in the ice water, a cold bandana saved my life more times than i care to count.
