Sioux Falls Comp 07/07/12

Hey Guys, Thought I would get the ball rolling on the Sioux Falls Comp. After talking with a couple of guys at the last comp I am going to go ahead and scheduling the Sioux Falls comp for 07/07/12. Judging by the response on the discussion thread I am hoping this will work for everyone.

I would just like to add that this is a free comp and is all for fun.

I hope that everyone that attended last year can make it and bring a few freinds. Here are a few pics to remind everyone what this place is like. These are just a few pics of the small area we ran on, there is ALOT more up there to play on.

just found out our family get together is that weekend.....man this stinks!

i'm making it for sure, trying to get more mn guys on board. if i get more on board, i'll be bringing my truck for power, have a 2500w inverter and semi batteries in there, it pulls a recip saw no problem so a soldering iron would be no problem at all. even if i can't get more people on board for a carpool, i'll probably be bringing that. just hoping we can get out of the shade and into the rest of the rock at the park this year!

Google maps says it's just under a 6 hour drive,,,,,going to have to talk to the wife,,,but I think I'm going to try and make this one!! Looks like a awesome place to comp.

It is worth the trip Mike. One of the best places I have been.

It always takes me about 1.5 times whatever Google maps says for drive time.
It took me over 3 hours to get to Sioux City.

Just a heads up guys. There has been a lot of interest in a 2.2S class (shafty only, no dig). If you got em, bring em!

I know, I refuse to speed. Other parents on Matt's baseball team were giving me crap about it once because they all were going at least 10mph over on the way to Lincoln. I told them that they were setting a bad example for their kids by breaking the law and acting like it didn't matter. I said that's like telling your kids that they can decide which laws they should follow and which ones aren't important. So now when people go speeding past me I call them criminals because they're breaking the law.

As long as you never speed, not even one 1mph over, and use all signals required when driving you can call em criminals, otherwise its the pot calling the kettle black

I know that. That's why I never speed, always use signals, and I come to complete stops at stop signs. I like to set a good example for my kids.

Unfortunately I'm scheduled to teach during the next 2 comps.
I'm hoping to work out something to make the Sioux Falls comp. Right now my calendar is clear for that one.
