Default NSCA 2012-2013 Season NEW DATES ADDED

This is what we are going to shot for this season. This may change if Hobbytown cahnges there race format. The courses are to be setup on the carpet track.

This season we will have to setup and take down the crawler course before and after we crawl. With that being said we need more people to show up early and stay late to do this.

As for classes we are planning to run 2.2Pro and 2.2S. All USRCCA rules apply. There are a few people that would like to run 1.9. If you would like too please post and maybe we can add it to the list. If time alllows.EDIT...Looks like we have more interest in the 1.9 class than I thought. We will try running all three classes at the first comp... EDIT

We need to discuss the course lay-outs and see what everybody would like to do. All seperate courses. Just use some of the gates for 2.2S then add harder ones for Pro (I know that would be pre-running for those running both classes). Just run them backwards (hard to setup good courses). Also should we stay with 10 gate courses or go with less? Might be able to run or courses this way

So on to the dates. We will be running altenate Saturdays to capret oval. These are the only dates available. Start time will be 1PM for now, may change at a later date. This is to get the panels laid out and courses setup.

1. Dec 8th Hobbytown Start time is 1PM

2. Jan 12th Hobbytown Start time is 1PM

Setup work will be to lay out tarps on the carpet to keep it clean. We are also looking for some carpet to lay down after the traps to help protect the racing carpet. Then at the end of the day we need to put all the panels back in the corner and vacuum the carpet. If you would be able to show up early to help setup please post up so we know if we will have enough people to get it done.

If you have anything to add please feel free to post.

Thanks Psycho

OK, I went through and checked the carpet oval dates for openings. These are the dates that are open to crawl inside. Hopefully the weather will hold and we can keep crawling outside.
Here are the dates. Location to be decided on before comp date. Hope for good weather, otherwise Hobbytown.

Feb 16 PENDING WEATHER PLEASE CHECH THREAD BEFORE COMP DATE
March 9
March 30

Start time will be 1PM with setup to start around noon. If the weather is nice we will crawl outside. Last weekend was great to get outside on the rocks.
Also looks like the sportsman class is going to get interesting!
Hope to see everyone on the rocks.
Chad

I am in for helping before and after. I forgot to leave the vacuum there so I will bring it up for the comp. Does crawling start at 1 or is that when we start setting up? Thanks for posting this up Chad! See you all soon!

I also will run 1.9 until I get the Sporty done, which won't be until the super is done! So maybe never, right ha ha!

I can be there early and stay late if needed also. I will run 1.9 if there is enough that want to.

I was hoping to start at 1PM. Just hope I am there by then.
We will bring the 1.9's to the first comp and see if we can get all three classes run.

Jesse,
No dues to pay. You can only run one crawler per class. You could run more than one class if the crawler meets the class requirements.

Also everyone please check the first post.

I was unable to make the meeting but I am willing to help with whatever. Can't do much physical labor (back issues). I'm new to this crawling thing but I'm in with both feet. Let me know what I can do to help!

A Wraith would be considered a scaler. It doen't really fit into any comp classes. Too long of a wheel base. There is a few guys that are looking into doing some scale runs, but they would be held outside.

Im all for running th 3 classes as long as we have the help judging and setting up courses, if not i think it will take too long. If you want to bring your wraith, bring it and ill bring one of my scale trucks and we can crawl. If you would like, come and you can run my sporty truck to see what ya think of that class

Chris and I are going to run some old short tires just for fun on the first comp. We were changing tires while practicing and never could tell much of a difference. So we are all the way to the bottom of the tire barrel!! If anybody wants to join in feel free, but don't feel obligated to. Ty

Im gonna show up at 11:30 orso and start shaking out the panels. We can use all the help we can get. I have 8 tarps ready to be put down on the carpet under the panels, now all we need is carpet or something to lay on top of tat so people can get back on the panels if ya fall off. And oh yea, PANTHERs ftw!!!

Just want to get a idea of how many people we will have for each class we plan to run. I will be running 2.2p and 1.9 for this comp. Hopefully the rest will be 2.2p and 2.2s! Post up so we can plan accordingly. Thanks Ty
