Default Vegas here I come!! 15 Mar 08

Ok, I am coming out to Las Vegas for a photography convention, but I have Saturday the 15th off. I get to go play for a day. I wanted to come out and hopefully attend a Vegas competition if possible. I should have TINY all cleaned up for some Sin City rock bashing.

So is anything going on?

Here's what I have to compete/play with:

Sweetness.

The WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) is closed to the industry and those part of WPPI unfortunately.

Here is a link to WPPI organization and the event for this year.

We go for the networking and education. It is cool to see new ideas all the time. Also we enter prints into the competition just to see how our prints are viewed compared to others. Last year we won 6 awards which is unheard of .

So I can't wait to come out. I am a Vegas rock virgin, so please break me in easy.

Good. I am weak and fragile and can not handle anything too exciting or difficult

By the way, would any of you guys be able to pick me up from the hotel that morning? I will be at at that needle looking one with roller coasters on top. Damnit if I can remember the name of it. We won't have a car again, so if I can bum a ride like the hippy that I am, that would be awesome.

I actually still run my original aluminum ones on the Jeep. Granted I haven't run them in a while now, but I think I put a TON of scale miles on them. I was shocked at how long they lasted with my driving.

I have a new set of Aluminums on TINY (only run 30 something times), but I have a few sets of the stainless that I will throw on when these wear out.

I just broke TINY yesterday so I will need to fix it before I come out. Ugghh. I need to learn how to drive. Guess I am going to be school'd by the best NV has.
