Moving to Fallon

Well, I will be moving to Fallon this week. Just wondering if anyone is in the area. I know there are some in Reno. Looking forward to doing some real crawling, and maybe attend some comps. This florida stuff is for the birds. I know there are some places down here, but being in the navy really limited me on being able to make it to some get togethers. Look forward to meeting some of you out there.

Welcome to Nevada, The BPRCA holds world class comps in the Reno area. Info is available on therockgods.com. When will you be arriving? The drive to Reno is well worth it, I drive from Winnemucca to attend monthly:)

Sounds cool. Reno is about an hour drive. I'll be there at the end of the week for a couple days, but i have a school to attend for a month in San Diego first. I should be in NV for good in June.

Hey welcome to Nevada. Don't know where you are now but there is a big crawler event May 10 at Moonrocks in Washoe county(Reno/Sparks) Hungry Valley. Check out www.renoradioconrol.com. That's the home of CKRC and BPRCA. They know LOTS about crawling.

There's also going to be a RC track in Fallon soon. I'll be torn...I live in Fernley.:-P

Welcom

I live in Fallon and have gone to all the BPRCA comps this summer. They do a great job at setting these events up. I'm also registered for the West Coast Championships. I thought I was the only crawler in Fallon. If you want to learn more about the BPRCA or do some crawling, drop me a line. I'm registered as Twodogs at therockgods.com

Team Strega
I myself thought I was the only one in Fallon as well, you and I and atvdude775 should go cawling. I would say this weekend but with me working threw it and the West Coast Championships your going to and not me  I seen a few videos of last years WCC and that looks like it would be a blast just to even go watch "thumbsup"
If you guys have Monday threw Thursday off next week, I'm off that week and go back Friday for night shifts:sad:

I guess it's been a while sence i've checked this side of the forum:roll:
I know where the Pony Express trail runs threw, I pass it every morning to go to work, the only big pile of rocks I've seen that looks promising is past Sand Pass on the north side of the road. I know of one pile that looks like an old building going to Carson City, well have to hook up with Team Strega"thumbsup"

Good luck and don't drink the water.

rhett314 07-17-2008 02:39 PM

Well finally all moved. Been playin around by rattlesnake raceway. Neat little spot. Even made it over to Moon rocks last weekend just to check it out. Very cool place. If anyone is around this weekend and wants to do some crawling, let me know.

prusik333 07-17-2008 08:56 PM

I have to work all this weekend:roll:and the next two weekends after that but I'm off Mon-thur next week if you can go then?
If not, the week after that I get Tue-Thur off???
At least I'm off for the next comp at Moonrocks, maybe hook up with ya there"thumbsup"

If you get off work early enough, plenty of daylight

rhett314 07-17-2008 09:47 PM

I'm usually off around 3, so we should have plenty of time. You know of anything other than rattlesnake?

prusik333 07-18-2008 05:23 AM

I called my boss last night, he said I could leave work early Saturday but not today:roll: I'll meet you at McDonalds at 3:30pm Saturday. I'll be in the white 4 door, 2006 Toyota truck...sound ok?
