FishMaxx Comes to Vegas. Pics Fish came out on business and brought his crawlers to go goof off. We headed up to Boulder City which is about 15 minutes out of Vegas going towards the Dam. Headed up ito Bootleg Canyon which is a reserve for mountain biking. Pretty tough terrain. I used to ride it alot. Headed out about 7:30 or so and drove to about noon or so. Fish will post some vids when he gets home. Had a great time. It was JoMauma and I along with Fish. Some other members of VegasCrawlerz had other engagements. We did agree that this is an excellent spot for our next comp. |

Did Fish try to grab your butt, or stick his tounge into your ear? |
Not into that. Nothing beats a good reach around though. |
Hmmm...a winter trip to Vegas is sounding better all the time. :) It's been a couple years since I've made that trip. It looks like UTRCRC is planning on having a comp in Vegas in January, maybe I'll go. David |

Those pics are wicked! I wish I could have gone, looks like a killer spot for a comp! |
1 Attachment(s) This would also be a cool spot. Paved roads, shade and tables! |
4 Attachment(s) Location: Valley of Fire 30 min North of Las Vegas |
Shade????........We don't need no stinkin shade! That looks nice as well. So what do you think Fish? Bootleg Canyon (proximity to hotels and vegas) or Valley of Fire (hehehheh fire) out half and hour from town. I would like to make it a comp / vacation for the people coming out. Maybe plan some activities at night on the strip or Gameworks and such. |
Valley of Fire is a protected place, they might not like having fortey guys running their R/C trucks all over everything. They'll probably look at it as using a motorized vehicle in forbidden areas, heck, they don't even let mountain bikes off the highway there. Ya, I know our trucks don't do any more damage than people walking all over stuff, but them ranger types won't care, they get their panties in a twist very easily. David |
Some Pre Utah crawlin last evening. FishMaxx and KillerTXT came to Vegas before heading out to Utah. |
