well guys going fast is not racing its about skill. not talking drag racing here. you have to test and practice lines. decide to bank or not do you double triple or quad. what tires work for you and track conditions. cant just have a fast car as it needs to be controllable.

going fast and racing are not the same

going fast and racing are not the same

no different than crawling really. different tires/foams for different rock types, ambient temperatures, rig weight, seeing/picking lines through obstacles, adjusting weight bias based on the course, etc...

like i said, ive tried it, it just never stuck. crawling is where its at for me.

....... yur right greg, i was into drag racin rc`s. slashes, tour cars, savages, what ever, ya gotta know what yur doin to race on a track, just not throw money at em with drag racin.

yes but the go fast is really fun..........

hope to see a good turnout in the morning. i still have some things to do today.
gotta untape my body from paint from almost 2 weeks ago now. do the final glue from switching wheels. got a new servo for the cc also since i had to use that old school s3003 after killin my axial witch had like 40 for torque and now ive got a 170. also have to toss in a reciever cause i took it out for testing some stuff the other week.

Count me in! Finally got my esc in and put my 1.9's on also lowered the body a bit, just did some test runs and Im GTG!

try lowering the pinion gear 2-3 tooth,,,,makes motor work less and less speed more accell and torque

I will post a new thread of which day i plan on going. I need to test my set-up. I might need a custom Panhard set up since i changed to the x-trails chassis and mounted the servo to the frame. I am having trouble with that. I have run it in the back yard on my Rock pile seems ok but according to what i have read online i need the panhard setup.

I told you Eddie, just take it off your stadium truck to see if it lowers the temp and go play with all of them. Unfortunatly i have to work. Damn it. Oh I think the pinion on your stadium truck is 17 or 18.. Do It!!!!
