Default metal supply

Where is everyone getting their metal from? HD is like 3 times the price as a metal supply. I have even looked at online suppliers and ebay - none seem to carry smaller sizes.
so where does everyone else go?

I have been trying too - but i am a metal fab guy at heart - i need a metal shop...... you would honestly prob pay less for a drop cut of the same size than the cookie sheet. but still not a bad idea. and like i said lowes and home depot are STUPID over priced.

I go to lowes for solid rod and sheet metal because it's 1mi from my house. NAPA for tubing, 2mi away. I'd spend more in fuel going across town to an actual steel supplier.

I use McMaster-Carr. If they don’t have it you don’t need it. If I order in the morning, it’s at my door the next day. And the dollar savings more than covers the shipping, plus I don’t have to leave the house. It also seems like when I go to one of the big box stores, they are out of one or more of the items I’m after, but when they look on the computer it says they have 10, but no one can find them.
