| Long Bed Blackfoot
Well, ive never really worked with styren, but figured id give it a shot..I cut My Blackfoot Body in half and am currently building a spacer to strech the Bed. This way, the wheel wells line up. One I get it all togetherIll bondo and hopefully it will san down nicely..if not, um, anybody have a xtra body the wanna get rid of.LOL |

it will hold - have faith. if anything you can put extra material on the backside to help strength it

to make it easier too bad you didnt have a extra body. you could cut the piece you need to mend together. If i wasnt trying to restore my blackfoot i would let you hack my truck up. none the less looking good.

no worries. I just bought it from rpp for 17 bucks..lol so, if it works awesome. If not no real big deal. Im hoping by tomorrow night i have all the fab work done and i can start with the body filling and bondo stage. |

i wanna see close up shots! give us some details to the handy work. and what made you lengthen the bed vs ext cab or moving the wheel well back? gonna need another axle to be a 6x6 by the time your done......8P |

| Re: Long Bed Blackfoot Ah Funny Guy!! Actually close up pics would make a grown man cry, first time using styrene..I moved the bed because im not a skilled hobyist that can make a extra cab. ( I have the glass for this one) And its really not that long, its on a honcho frame. I didnt realise when i ordered that the wheelbase of the Bigfoot was so much shorter.

Started applying filler to it so i can get somewaht of a smooth piecing. Im thinking about building a job box or tool chest type deal outtta balsa wood for the bed. |

got some bondo work done, need to do final sanding then i can primer it!! Its pretty damn strong! |
