Anthony and myself were chatting about this idea the other day.....
Before it gets too hot to hang out - lets all get together at someones house and bbq - backyard bash - wrench & build
good people and good food always equals a dam good time
what yall think?

depends on when ya wana do this but my house is ok, plus got a nice area for rc`in.... rock, logs, rope bridges,... no kids. no dogs. plenty of room to tinker on rc`s...its just me, so no bothers........ and every one is cool to come. and yes even you greg ! "thumbsup""thumbsup".

depends when. my kid comes into town from the 28th to 7th. she is into rc both crawling and short course. at 11 yrs old she has a Losi xxx-t short course brushless tekin 10.5t with mamba max pro and a Ax10 and a brushless rc boat. hooked up she is. lol

....... yup ! thanx to autobob and his best buddy they put a nice lil course in my front yard..... its not huge, but its a servo blower ! its took the lives of 2 servos so far..lol:shock:

yeah back to what i think rodney asked....

what date do you guys have in mind?

this upcoming weekend or in the first half of april sometime?

if its at chris' i can get there no prob but if its across town ill have to figure out a ride.

and lets get a what your goin to bring list goin.

word - sounds like the start of a plan....
i was going to offer my house - got plenty of room - but i do have a 1 year old that loves to run around and im on the north side of town.
where and when doesn't matter to me - just use to BBqing and group wrenching GTGs 2 times a month from the offroad club i was in while i lived in england.
its good fun and good times like i said. have a couple drinks, fix somethings and eat yummie food, and we always had kids around so family friendly is easy.

like i said - where and when doesnt matter - we were thinking of going camping out at valley of fire for easter weekend, but looks like everyone is bailing on us (unless someone wants a wheeling camp fire weekend lol)
but since i started this idea - i will throw down a couple racks of ribs and southern potato salad

I will bring coke, Pepsi and some diet Pepsi if that is ok with everyone, does anyone know when we are doing this yet. This weekend would be good but next weekend the 30th,31st, and 1st are race days so we could not come. Sorry Robert

well bein friday already this weekend i dont see happening......next weekend the 1st is supposed to be a comp also guys so keep that in mind

14th sounds good. gives all a chance to see the thread and plan accordingly........so i guess next step will be to wait and see what chris says to see if hes able to host on that date or not.

well i vote for chris' the 14th then....i believe hes like 10 mins-15 mins westish of me so would be like 20 mins eastish of say anthony and alex.....so thats pretty darn close to middle at least from my view being i dont know where everyone lives........

I'm in, by then I'll have weekends off. How's brisket and pulled pork sound?I need to know what time of day we're doing it so I can plan my cook times.

lol I'm around just not active. Its a busy time of year for me at work stacked on top of taking tests for training and working on a promotion, its all been taking its toll on me. all my free time has been going into my 1:1 truck and my house. Thats all about to be straightened out here tho as I passed the tests and got the promotion and I'm taking all of April off of work. I haven't touched my rig since I broke it at the last comp so ill need to get working on that and I'll be down to come out and play again money permitting. You can pretty much rule me out of the Dakar tho as I wont have and don't wanna spent the time and money getting my mini trophy up to snuff so if anyone wants to compete in the Dakar and needs a rig let me know It just needs a servo and body.
