Rain, Rain - Let it Rain!
Which Day does everyone want todo this weekends Comp? Everyone has been asking about our Mud photos so we are going to move the event to the Mud Pits at the Nort end of Durango. There is also some really good hill climbs.
We will set up some southern hill climb gates and a couple mud runs.
I will get a map up this week, but it is really easy to find.

I read the calendar wrong. - my fault. That's why hillbillies shouldn't use electronics unless they make sparks. Lol

We are for either or and the digging will start very early - so I suggest waterproofing or put your electronics in a ballon. You will want to hose your rigs off after.

Think southern mud races and hill climbs. I grew up doing both so minus the trees it will be pretty close.

Sunday - 0830 ORoarke Elementary School Parking lot on the North end of Durango
It is across the street from Floyd Lamb park. You can google either to see it on a map - I just cant link to it from my work computer.

Sorry this was organized last min - I am always one to atleast be a week early on functions but work has got me stupid busy lately.

Again - we have multiple camreas out and rolling - WATER PROOF your stuff and come out to get AIR Bourne and shoot some RoosterTails.

about 7:30ish,

Also... going to bring a laptop for the video guys. this way, we could ALL swap videos right there on the spot. I will also be bringing blank dvds if u dont have a jump drive or external HDD.
minimum of 8gbs is recommended if u have one, main reason is most of our video storage cards are 8gbs, well at least mine is.

I've got a 16gb SDHC card in my Nikon, does your laptop have an SD slot or should I bring the cable?

my waterproofing is complete, ive got a tow strap on the front of my wraith and batteries (both RC and camera) are charging. can't wait!

Yup... laptop has a sd card reader. Make things really fast!

If anyone has a power inverter, that would be sweet too... so laptop battery won't die out on us... I don't have one.. =(

well, it wasn't wet like we wanted but we had fun anyway. JJ and i have some ideas for a more controlled mud run once it starts to cool down outside.

the few pics i got are on the way.
