The event will be held February 23rd & 24th
Location: Area 51 St.George <-Map
Classes being ran: C1/C2/C3

Event details:

Saturday February 23rd:

Class 2:
Rig Tech: 9:00 AM
Start time: 9:30 AM

Class 3:
Rig Tech: 2:00 PM
Start Time: 2:30 PM

There will be 3 separate courses for each class. Each course will be 15-20 gates long
Courses will be scored by penalties only, using time as a tie breaker

Sunday February 24th:

Class 1 trail run
Rig Tech: 9:00 AM
Start time: 9:30 AM

There will be one long course, roughly 40-60 gates. Possibly ran for a second lap, or again in reverse order.
This course will also be scored by penalties only, using time as a tie breaker

How the SHOWDOWN will work:
We will take the top 6 Pro/Sportsman class drivers from Las Vegas and Utah and compare their total combined scores.
**Example** Utah's top 6 drivers total combined score is 60 and Las Vegas' top 6 drivers total combined score is 70, Utah would win the showdown

We will use scores from the top 6 drivers from both states regardless of drivers class, both sportsman and pro (open class will not be counted). If you are not required to run Pro class but wish to, i highly recommend having your rigs in spec to avoid penalties. Otherwise, run sportsman class

Minimum scale points required for this event:

Pro-
C1- 30 Scale Points Min. (60 point Max)
**PRO C1 ONLY**(additional scale points, over min., will be deducted from the drivers total score for the event)
C2- 25 Scale Points Min.
C3- 20 Scale Points Min.

Sportsman-
C1- 25 Scale Points Min.
C2- 20 Scale Points Min.
C3- 15 Scale Points Min.

**Minimum points required to run only, these points or extra points above minimum will not be counted towards your scores**

**Don't forget Pro class rigs found lacking scale points or found out of spec will be docked points, see rules.**

**Sportsman class rigs that do not meet min. scale points will automatically be bumped down into the Open class**

Courses will be tough so a winch is a good idea. If you do not have a winch your judge will pull you through with a recovery rope for a larger penalty. (see penalties below)**

We will be teching rigs for this event so be sure to check the rules section when building your truck. As always don't forget we will be running the open class for any rigs that are not necessarily legal and or scale. See the scale rules here for more information.

Progress: -2 points
Reverse: +1 point
Gate Marker: +10 points
Rollover: +5 points
Boundary Marker: +10 points
Vehicle touch (repair & repositions): +10 points
Course direction: +10 points
Winch: +2 points
Assisted recovery: +10 points
Dig/rear steer(Class 3 only): +5 points
Did not finish (or point out): point out or high score on course +20 points
Did not start: Point out or high score on course +50 points
