|  Calico cone dodging - July 6th
There is a few of us going up tot Calico next Saturday morning todo some cone dodging. No real rules just friendly driving and keeping the practice hours up for Champs!  The main idea is to use the big flat rock area half way up the trail. But if your not sure where that is, follow the normal trail up past the water crossing and you shouldn't miss us. My fault I should have said - lower. If you want to get there about 730 and walk in with me I can show you the lower trail. It takes 30min or so to set up cones but once I show you the lower trail there plenty to play on the way up the hill. |

i take the short cut trail. I park along the side of the road and head straight up the short steep trail , if your looking in the red springs direction. that's actually the main trail to the red springs area which is a short 50 yrds from the lower calico area. I find this trail to be the fastest quickest way without use of a lot of energy. in fact I usually start crawling from the time I get out of the car. all the way up to the crawl spots and back.

Goes beside the water area at the bottom? I think we are talking about the same trail up to the big open rock stepped area.

I actually just found the "sticky" maps, just before the red rock park area. I'll have to leave home a little after 6 but I'll be there.
