Lahontan Trail Run

Sunday March 16. 1100, boat landing Churchill County side of Lahontan. Same as last time: we can ferry in people not wanting to take their vehicles to beach 11. It's a little rough for low slung vehicles. $5 per vehicle for day use. I think the bathrooms are still locked for winter so bring drinks, snacks, and the ability to use a bush if necessary.

Working out details for our little run on Sunday March 16. We will meet at the boat landing/marina on the Churchill County side of Lahontan Reservoir at 1100, then caravan out to beach 11. Parking is available on the highway for anyone not wanting to drive past beach five as the road is a bit rough especially for low slung vehicles. The park charges $5 per vehicle for Nevada residents, $7 for others. I'm fairly sure the restrooms are still locked for the winter so be prepared to utilize one of the plentiful bushes. Be sure to bring drinks, snacks, batts, camera equipment, and your walking shoes. Several of us will be taking video and pictures so feel free to express if you wish not to be posted online. Also, if you wish to have info posted about your rig, group, driving experience, club, products, or events posted on the group page or promoted during our events/get togethers feel free to contact any of the mods so we can effectively coordinate exposure for you. Thanks to everyone for supporting our little group. Drive on!

Extremely fun afternoon. Everyone had breakage but everyone also had a ton of fun. I got very few pics and very little footage but our buddy Steven M at RC Aquatic on Facebook put together his footage for this:

Look like our next run is going to be April 6 at Moonrocks. Most of us have never been so most of the day will be captured in pics and vids.
