Red Rock Canyon today.
 

DieselFuel and I along with my 4 year old son Tyler went up to Red Rock Canyon today for some crawling fun. This place was sweet. I think it may be a great nomination for next years nationals. Wink Wink nudge nudge.

All of the rigs are SW's and crawled very well. I think I need to shorten the RockRoaches WB an inch or so.

The area looks like it has a sh@t load of lines. Where is this place at or how far from Vegas?

It is about 30 minutes from the strip. It was a lot of fun. The parking is limited but well worth it.

about 10-15min outside vegas on the west side of the valley... its a great spot for a comp only problem i can see is that parking is limited. but yeah tons of fun lines around there! the sandstone is really clean and we really didnt see much performance difference between the mashers and moabs. there was one spot that rizzos SW was able to do on moabs that the other SWs on mashers couldnt. we only began to scratch the surface of that place too, i can see a lot of crawl trips out there in the future!

oh and at 3 drivers this is the biggest vegascrawlerz GTG in almost a year! tyler is gonna sweep the 2.2 class at nats here in a few years watch out!

Sweet spot!!! I'm coming up to Vegas for a few days the week of Christmas and I'm bringing my NN with me and you guys gotta show me that place!!!

...damn, that means I have to call in sick on the 15th, crawl in Vegas. Then get up at 3am and head to SLC to the Little Moab comp :shock: Well see how she goes...

yeah we're finally gaining size and popularity here in vegas... just recently we gained 2 or 3 more members... we're almost big enought to have our own comps now!

That's kickass, if I don't make it to nationals next year I still want to atleast try and make Vegas.
