Dam. The hitec hs-645-mg servo is a good cheaper option. It's like $30 and does the job. As far as esc ther is to many options, what do you want out of it? I think next one I buy will be the Holmes hobby unit.

Well I want an ESC motor combo like the tekin frx 55t or a Novak or castle creation combo just not sure which is the best combo for strictly crawling. And the servo I'll order tonight but in the mean time I have a ton of aircraft ht servos laying around.

All three are good choices IMO. Each has specific crawler combo's....

I have been looking at Holmes Hobbies... freaking pricey!

The Novak rooster combo is great. That's what I am running . I bought mine 3 yrs ago. It stopped working 2 weeks before the warranty was up, I sent it in they fixed it for just the shipping ,and I have not had a problem since.

Well I decided on the tekin fxr combo but not sure if I should get 55t or 45t . Also decided on the hitec 5970 I believe. An expensive freaking servo.

The holmes esc allows you to run up to 6s if you feel the need, which I do.

It would be nice to have the option of throwing in a 11-14 volt in. Then I think I would run a 35 turn. With the extra juice , I think it would crawl fine and be a blast on hill climbs and such.
