Hey, Guys

I'm from Pelham, NH and have just gotten back into r/c and crawling the last few weeks (and I got that r/c fever again). Got the XR10 fixed and running again and just couldn't resist that sweet looking Wraith, so last weekend I pulled the trigger and bought one. Both my crawler are still stock, but I figure the faster I break or wear stock parts, the more reason I'll have to buy HD upgrades.

Anyway, I would love to join u guys for the 10/20 GTG and possibly get my neighbor and his son to come along as well. These are the people that are actually responsible for the resurgence of my r/c fever. Just need to double check with the wife to make sure there's no big event that day.

Sounds good xcrawler. Also if someone wanted to bring a grill I would be willing to bring some dogs and burgers and grill some. Up to you all. Wasn't sure how long people were planning on staying around for. Just let me know. I would bring a grill but were driving her car up to save on gas.

so as of now we have me,birdboy,thumpingbeetle,and xcrawler for sure. thats 5 rigs so far. how long would we like to crawl? i have all day so post up with ideas.

Earlier the start the better for me. I have about a 2 hour drive so I would need to leave around 2pm.

How does this sound: 10am meet up, crawl for an hour or so, break for some grilled lunch and brew(I'll supply the cold beer), then another hour or 2 of crawling?

Haven't had a chance to talk to neighbor yet about gtg, but I have been busy chopping it up. Got some HotRacing steering link and lowered the ride height significantly. Replaced crappy stock Axial shocks with less crappy Redcat shocks. The Redcat shocks were a bit shorter, but it performs much better. Got 4 100mm aluminum shock set, on the way, off EB for dirt cheap, so will have to wait to see how they work. If they are junk then I only wasted $13 lol. Got a $6 aluminum ventilation panel from HomeDepot and so far made 2 side panels. Chopped the rear top portion of the tuber cage and stock roof panel. Chopped a clothes hanger to add to the tuber cage and JB Welded it into place. Lastly, painted the diff covers. Went crawling this morning and very happy with the look and handling. Will do more work tonight and the rest of the week since I have the week off .

How about some more pics of the rigs that will be on hand at the gtg?
