I've got nothing really worth trading in regards to r/c, but I'll bring a little cash

Just looked up the hourly weather report on weather.com and it looks like rain will end by around 7am Sat morning. Just in case it doesn't, I'm packing some duck gears. I plan to leave here around 8am, so if we're cancelling please post before 8am since its a 2 hour trip for me.

Should our rigs be waterproof before this trip? Were still new to this stuff. I mainly fly planes but I have the stuff to waterproof the servos but not the received and esc yet.

Well, the good news is my rigs are ready. The bad news is I got told this morning I have to work saturday. Son of a ....

Sucks, I havent been able to use any of my rigs for about 4 months now.

I hope it doesnt rain on everyone. Be sure to post up the next gtg.

Looks like rain should stop, and it seems like it'll be most likely just sprinkling if anything by 10am Sat. Receiver and esc shoukd be ok under the body, as long as you don't go scuba diving with the rig. If you're still concern then put both inside a balloon. Some electrical tape around the seam and a glob of grease around the arm mount should be sufficient for the servo. Bring a shopping bag or 2 to protect the remote and put extra batteries in a ziploc.

Sorry to hear you can't make it Cordwood, woulda really like to see your rigs.

My extra batteries from Hobbypartz came in yesterday, so all I need to do today is replace with Dean connectors and charge them up. The Predator is itching to shred some trails

it rained alot today so this spot may be a little washed out. we need to hop a brook that is probly higher than normal. i will bring something to cross with need be, and there is still stuff to run.

Hopefully we can make it across... Worse case scenario, we go up the road. Got a new rig up and running... put my Novak 8.5turn motor out of my slash in it. Will probably break a few things...
