| Crawl Spots on or near the Seacoast?
I'm looking for a spot to meet up with some friends from MA and I'm in Maine. We're hoping to find some good large rock crawling areas on or near the seacoast. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! |

Isn't there rocks at hampton beach on end furthest from Salsbury? May only be when the tide is out. Where in Maine are you? I've always wanted to crawl by the Nubble lighthouse, and the beach on the backside of York's Wild Kingdom is that short sands??

Nubble looks great from satellite! I love all the exposed rock. There are some sweet spots in Maine but the ones I know of are all Portland and North. If you go to the Maine section of this Forum we have a sticky thread with a map of several locations. Hampton are sound good but I don't want to have to time the tide. Thanks though! |

up by hampton there's a bunch of spots, all along that road I don't know if it'd be any good though seeing how I didn't bring any truck with me. Isn't it a little cold for the beach though? |

It would definitely be cold. My brother flies his rc planes at the beach in the winter.

Nubble is a great spot this time of year with no people around. I've had my trucks there a few times. Not the biggest area, but can keep you busy a while. I also run along route 1a in Rye. There are a couple little parking areas you can pull off in. Lots of cool ledge there to run on, just don't go at high tide!
