Default Jersey Event for the Spring.

Hey all. As some of you may know my Yard is pretty legit for crawlin. And after some time playing with the idea I want to put together a "Competition" but with a twist. The twist is that it will be under a different set of rules. It will combine a Tough Truck aspect, Endurance, and Rock Race style. So here is what we are working on. This is a Put up or Shut up kind of thing. It's meant to be a fun break from the normal GTG's and Comps.

I want to limit the entries to a max of 15 trucks.

Each team/truck is a $20 entry fee, WINNER TAKE ALL!!!!

A 30 second stagered start.

All trucks are to be SHAFT driven.

Max 3s lipo.

The course will be made up of 20 Gates

The only points will be a +10 seconds for hitting a gate

You will need to do 10 laps.

NO WHINING!

And here is the biggest part,

NO TOUCHING YOUR VEHICLE WHILE IT'S ON THE COUSE!!!!! IF YOU BREAK, FLOP, ROLL OVER, TOUGH! YOUR TRUCK IS NOW PART OF THE COURSE UNTIL THE RACE IS FINISHED.

However there will be 3 locations through out the course, there will be a Pit area where you may pick up your vehicle make repairs and change batteries. Then the truck MUST be returned to the same Pit area to continue.

There of course will be some integrety here. Stop watches will be used for the start. Each driver is responsible for starting and stopping thier watch as they enter the course.

Watches will be left with the course "Marshal" = Me. I will not be participating as a driver for the event.

Of course a few Vollunteer's will be needed if possible.

So that's the plan. I wanted to get this out so people could gain interest and build a rig capable of lasting and winning. I look forward to the spring. The snow covered rocks in my yard are a depressing sight.
