Default Sunday 21st Crawl

Thought I would start this Thread to see if there is interest in going out to Rio Puerco this Sunday.

We can meet at the west end of Southern in Rio Rancho around 10.

Post up if you are interested.

Default Count me in.

I'll go. If anyone wants to carpool, I've got lots of room (4WD Isuzu Rodeo).

Cell phone is 919-428-5901

Can't make it this sunday... have prior plans. But let me know what the grounds are like. According to weather.com, it looks like rain Sat. and Sun. afternoon with more to come on Monday. If that is the case, I am thinking we will need to move the comp to The Rock House.

Let me know!

I think I can make it.

Update: If we are still on, I'll see you all around 10:00. May be a little late but will have my phone.

Default Are we still on for today?

I had some rain here up on Tramway last night - not much though.

I can't figure out the weather here. It looks like we will get some more rain today, but not much.

Are we still going?

. . . You got laid this weekend? . . . and you're complaining?

There's just no pleasing some people.

Got to Central and Coors and the t-case shifter finally popped out of 4H on the CJ...... That was weird. From there on out it acted like it was never stuck. The joys of a 25 year old vehicle, right?

Thanks to everyone for taking the pictures!

It's hard to say how long it's been since that JEEP was put into 4WD and run for any length of time. Mix the gear oil in the transfercase with a little condensation, and you get grease (kind of). That's bound to stick things up.

Still, $600 for that JEEP was the deal of the century!

That thing was a blast to drive. No trouble on any of the climbs. Just needs a small lift and some 33's and it would be perfect! It's making it hard for me to find a rig of my own because I keep comparing the price to what he paid! I'll find something one of these days. In the meantime, I have an open offer to borrow the CJ whenever....
