I spoke with Adrian (the new owner of BBT) for about an hour this evening. He is 100% behind the club. He is willing to do great things for us at his cost. Like build an indoor course, supply rocks at the store for outdoor playing. All he asks is for our input and attendance if he puts forth the effort. He has big future plans that very much include us. He would like us to hold expos and such at the store. With that being said, he is asking that the club show up at BBT on saturday august 27th from 4pm-6pm to to demo our crawlers and answer questions that cutomers and future crawlers may have. If we want the club to grow, i dont think this is too much to ask. During our conversation he told me that he has atleast 1 person a day asking about crawling. If you can please leave your opinion and feedback ASAP so i can get back to him with positive response"thumbsup" thanks.....Rick

Yes, I'll show up for the demo. I'm new to the RC world and the crawlers are my bag of tea but I still have a lot to learn myself. I would like to see more activity going on, thats the best way to learn. As for BBT devoting more to the crawling scene would be great! :D

I would be down for that. Problem is most people have a hard time making things on Saturday.
None the less, I was thinking about doing a camp and crawl that weekend at the cabin that weekend. But we could always do the trophies and give away the truck at the store. Your guys call.

Ok so it looks like we are on for that day then!!! Ill see what i can do to set up some type of crawler course and i will start getting the word out!! The more rigs the better for you guys!!

Ill keep you posted on what i find out as far as a temp course goes for that day!

Ok guys on August 27 starting at 4pm , The local r/c rock crawler club will be at the store anwering questions anyone might have on rc crawling plus we willl have some type of course set up for everyone to see these little trucks in action!! ALSO we will be doing another parking lot race, this time will be a large oval with one jump on each straight away.... $10 entree per class, for every class that gets at least 5 entrees 1st place will get a gift card for 80% of entree fees taken in for that class.

CLASSES

short course (open class and stock spec classes if enough entrees)

monster truck (will be broken up to nitro and electric is we get enough)

EDIT: now I defiantly need to find a power source for my TTC. Just smoked my Traxxas vxl 3s..... I swear the RC gods hate me some days.

i can bring some rocks and maybe make an obstacle or two.

i'm glad everyone is so positive, i stopped by yesterday and adrian said he was going to get the flyers together. he is going to check with some buisinesses about donating rocks to the store, or just on one of his car haulers for the weekend. i recommended sandstone due to the high traction. dont just bring your scalers, bring your compers and show them off too "thumbsup"

Just found out I should have my new and improved creeper in time for this shindig "thumbsup" so I will be Seein you guys out there
