Sounds good to me, maybe we can head out Sunday morning.

BTW, it is "practice".

DJ or any of the others, you up for going to Montesa on Saturday? I feel like running some nitro power out there. Assuming your sand rail or e-maxx is in working order.

Sounds like fun. I'll have to see about getting my t-maxx to actually drive straight enough to race out there with that xtm 24.7 in it.

James and I did some searching this weekend. One of these spots will be our new stomping grounds.Which do you like? All places are much better than Poo Water. On to the pictures...

*This is Puteua Lisa Park AKA "White Wash Hill".This is my favorite.Slick rocks steep lines and it looks really scale.Go up Tramway to Candelaria turn right, and go all the way up you can't miss it.

This is Beavertown.I didn't get any pictures of the creek and trees, but let me tell you that it is sweet! We could have some killer Scale Trail runs here.Plus with all the shade we could have a little lunheon sometime.

It is hard not to be better than Poo Water.

Looks great. I'm assuming the fire restrictions don't cover there (or they've been lifted). BTW, I have one of those awning things now that I'll bring to our get togethers, so we'll always have shade. I also have a folding table I can bring for stuff like this too.

Edit: So we getting together next weekend or what? Gotta make DJ work his rig out before September to make sure he represents NM well.

There's actually water in NM? There are trees too? Looks like a dust bowl to me.

Instead of making a new thread, I'll bump this one.

Plans look to be getting together tomorrow, 07.29.2006, (noon) at Beavertown.

Directions for those of you (like me) who have never been there before.

We went up White Wash Hill after we left from Beaver Town. Man, that is a fantastic spot. We went up that HUGE rock on the left, in the rain. Talk about nerve racking, but that was the most fun crawling I've had in ages. I nominate that for all future comps. Sure, it sucks if people break, it is a big of a hike back down the rocks, but man is it fun.

May as well bump this again since it is basically the same as last time.

I'm thinking of heading out there again around 9:30-10AM on Saturday Aug 5th. I really really like this spot (Tramway and Candelaria). I'm heading out earlier so we're not running the trucks in the hottest part of the day.

Anyone else want to come, feel free. The wife and kiddos are going to be out with me. Probably break for a picnic lunch and then back to crawling.
