I am working in Santa Fe for a while and just ordered a used LNC to play with while I am here. I am just wondering if there is any good spots near here? I see rocks everywhere but didn't know if there were any specific spots you guys like to run your crawlers. Thanks! |

I've heard there is some good spots behind the Sante Fe mall. I've never had the chance to make it up there and crawl.... But I am sure someone will chime in. ![]() |

There is park at the SW corner of Alemeda and St Francis. Check it out on Goolge earth or maps. Highly recommend Tank Trap outside of Santa Fe but need 4 wheel drive to get in. http://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l...o/P1020768.jpg |

I went take a look at the spot on the corner of Almeda and St. Francis and it looks like it has some potential. Can't wait to get my batteries and charger in to give it a try. Any other suggestions appreciated. Also, does anyone know of a place where I can pick up some rock for free? Is it legal to get it off the trails and such? My condo has a nice walled courtyard area and I would love to build a little course to practice on. |

There are alot of nice spots around Santa Fe. Check Super Toys at 21 Bisbee Ct for info. A decent group of guys crawl almost every weekend at different spots. There is a 3 day Camp & Crawl happeneing next weekend 9/28 -9/30 in at Holy Ghost camp ground in Pecos. Highly recomend waterproofing and lights. Will have night run.
