Yeah! Another season starts.
This thread will be for season dates and scores.

Comp#1 Nov. 4 - Poo Water
Comp#2 nov 18- keun's krux
Comp#3 dec 9- supper rock
Comp#4 jan 13- Pete's Playground
Comp#5 feb 3- Lower White Wash
Comp#6 feb 17- Mega Poo
Comp#7 mar 3- San Y
Comp#8 mar 17- Keun's Krux
Comp#9 apr 7 **to be named**
Comp#10 apr 27 (yes, saturday) Moon Rock
Comp#11 may 5 embuito(sp) canyon
Comp#12 may 19 end of southern

Three classes; 2.2pro, 2.2s, 1.9
Six comps required to qualify for states. (2.2pro only?)

Idea. I know we talked about not doing scale comps. And I'm cool with that. But I was thinking that if I and anyone else interested goes to the comps we could score our selfs to see how we might hold up to another scale comp like the axial scalefest that I want to go to next year.

Like I said just an idea.

Idk what we want to do for that.. I know we are probably the only ones in NM with the 2.2s class and 1.9. I think we should atleast put out an effort to have 2.2s at states, But we can talk about it more as the season goes on.

feel free to run your scalers at any comp. (most will actually fit under 2.2s.)
as for a scale specific comp, we could talk about it but i have nothing set.

These years host belongs to Farmington, I also say we concentrate 2.2 pro.

At least down here in the El Paso/Las Cruces Club last year we had all 2.2 together wether they were moa's or shafties, and we ran scalers for bragging rights in our area only.

we dont have to do a scale comp but it would be cool if i could get some one that wouldnt mind reading over the rules and could give me an opinion on scale point and then if i can run the comp i'll just try and follow the scale course rules if they are different. i think it'll be fun

I think I in keeping the sprit of fun in our scale class, we should have a couple of G6 challenges, or similar. Then it won't be so much about" competition" but Still have some bragging rights in that area, and get more of our members involved. That's my 1.5 Pennies.....
